Learn about the leadership at Abundant Life.
Senior Pastor Walter Hallam has been actively serving the Lord since his youth. He knew at an early age that God had called him to preach. Still, he ministered as layman in his local church until 1985. God then placed in his heart to move with his wife Cindy and children to Texas City, Texas and begin a church.Pastor Hallam, a powerful and dynamic speaker, ministers the good news of the Gospel with authority. He operates effectively in the gifts of the Spirit through the gifts of healing, faith, miracles, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, and prophecy. Having a strong apostolic anointing, Pastor Hallam is often referred to as a pastor to pastors.
Senior Pastor Cindy Hallam has been pastoring alongside her husband Walter Hallam for over 25 years. Together they have ministered to people around the world from La Marque, Texas. One of the ministry slogans “Reaching Neighborhoods and Nations” has proven to be true in her first phase of ministry. She has a strong desire to impact the women and young people of ALCC and she has been doing so for more than 28 years.
Joshua Rudolph is the Assistant Pastor at Abundant Life Christian Center. He is a graduate of Abundant Life School of Ministry (ALSOM) and currently completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries from Oral Roberts University. He has worked in almost every ministry at ALCC and served as the Youth Pastor with his wife Catherine for 8 years. His dedication to the local church and love for people sets him apart from the crowd and positions him as a leader in the church and this region. The joy of the Lord in his preaching style and unashamed flow of the Holy Ghost make him a magnet for ministry. God has uniquely gifted him to transcend all crowds and reach people with hope and life.
As the Executive Pastor, Catherine leads the ministries of the church and helps to facilitate those who like to work in the church. She graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake with a degree in Business Management and completed her Master of Education from Regent University. It is necessary for ministers to prepare themselves in every way for God to use them. Catherine strongly believes this principle and has trained in hospitality, education both Biblical and secular, and business.Above all of the classes and training, her heart is in ministry. The ability to reach the lost and see them changed by the power of God brings the most satisfaction as a preacher.
